Where: Tolworth Court Farm Fields and Moated Manor.
Our vision for Tolworth Court Farm is to create a thriving urban nature reserve through a mixed grazing scheme and wetland restoration project. On this site, we run rewildng days to assist with site management as well as Nature-Friendly Dog Walks.
Where: The Hogsmill River.
This project focuses on Water Voles, the UK’s fastest declining mammal. We successfully reintroduced Water Voles back into The Hogsmill and now our volunteers work to monitor their presence. We also run habitat surveys, community engagement events, and habitat restoration days.
Where: Paradise Fields, Greenford.
In 2023, we successfully reintroduced a family of beavers to Ealing in partnership with The Ealing Beaver Project and Ealing Council. The project was a huge success and in 2024 we welcomed two kits – only one year after reintroduction!
Where: Edith Gardens, Surbiton.
Edith Gardens is a peaceful nature reserve in Surbiton that we have restored by enhancing diversity. Rewilding sessions here may consist of vegetation clearance, creating dead and live hedges, pond management and anything else that may pop up!
Where: Norfolk
We released the first home-reared grasshoppers into the wild in Norfolk, in 2019! Now, in 2024, we have released over 5000 Large Marsh Grasshoppers and we are lucky enough to have had 46 dedicated Citizen Keepers since 2018.
